Dr. Jon E. Mendelsohn, a popular plastic surgeon and medical director of Advanced Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Center, has opened the Advanced Botox Center. 

Located in Rookwood Tower in Norwood, the ABC is designed to provide patients with fast and easy Botox cosmetic treatments.

Botox, the popular anti-wrinkle drug, is used by millions and millions of people worldwide. On top of smoothening wrinkles, Botox can also be used to treat more than 20 medical conditions, including severe headaches and excessive sweating.

Dr. Mendelsohn administers more than 40,000 Botox injections yearly. According to Dr. Mendelsohn, as his patient numbers began soaring he saw a need to build a specialized facility.

“Our patients spoke and we listened,” said Dr. Mendelsohn. “When our valued and busy clients come in on a routine basis for Botox or other fillers, they expect minimal wait time.  In order to accommodate our patients, I have personally trained three licensed Botox specialists, (Cathy Murray, CMA, LE; Emily Hutchinson, RN; and Cindy Tischner, RN), who have a combined twenty years of experience in the medical field.”
