In the United States, controversy surrounding faulty breast implants is causing panic amongst political leaders and medical practitioners.
According to sources, some private clinics are cleaning their mess by referring affected patients to NHS. “Affected” refers to women who experienced rapture and pain after their breast implants were applied.
The government is asking private clinics to inform potential patients about the risk of these operations. Some clinics use industrial silicone for breast implants. While the material is cheaper, it also has more risks involved.
The industrial silicone does not have a protective layer; therefore, it increases health risk. The product contains health-hazardous contaminants, including Baysilone, Silopren, and Rhodorsil.
In addition to that, sources state that these silicones have not been properly tested.
Another cosmetic issue on the rise is Botox. Authorities say that the anti-wrinkle drug is being administered by unqualified professionals all over America. Injecting Botox without the help of a qualified medical practitioner can lead to serious health hazards.
