Medicis issues The Dysport Challenge |

Dysport, the new anti-wrinkle drug, is marketing hard against Botox. The manufacturer is offering “The Dysport Challenge.”
The new promo offers rebates if the customers are not happy with the results; and they will even offer a $75 Botox treatment if this happens.
The Medicis-made drug was recently approved by the Food and Drug Administration as an anti-wrinkle treatment.
Dysport is expected to steal a part of the Botox market in the year to come. However, it has a long way to go as it is currently just earning a measly 10 percent of Botox revenue.
On the downside, some medical practitioners are questioning The Dysport Challenge for its ethics.
“It’s the treatment of medicine as a consumer product that seems a little creepy,” explained Dr. Carl Elliott, professor of bioethics at the University of Minnesota Medical School, tells the New York Times
