According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, more than 11,000 teenagers had Botox last year. And a similar trend is reaching Europe.
Most practitioners of Botox would not administer Botox to minors. However, the teenagers participate in Botox parties or purchase it abroad. There are many dangers here.
If unqualified individuals administer Botox, it risks facial paralysis. Botox is poison. And in the hands of an unqualified individual, it can be a dangerous drug.
In Britain, girls as young as 15-years-old have already had Botox treatments. These anti-wrinkle injectables are usually reserved for much older individuals to prevent wrinkles and age spots.
