Recently, a British biomedical company Intercytex developed Vavelta—a clear liquid made from millions of microscopic skin cells cultivated from babies’ foreskins. It is the latest treatment against wrinkles and aging.
Vavelta is injected to the skin to treat wrinkles, sun damage, and scars. The clinical trials for the product were conducted in London using materials from the United States. Sources say that the treatment is “astonishingly effective.”
The tests were monitored by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the United States and the Human Tissue Authority of Britain. Over the course of the experimentation, patients claim that over 80% of their skin defects were removed. However, the treatment costs more than Botox and derma fillers combined.
At an average, Botox costs £250 and Derma fillers are about £300. On the other hand, Vavelta costs £750 per treatment.
