According to a recent study presented at the 2008 American Academy of Otolaryngology, Botox injections positively effects first impressions in relation to attractiveness and athleticism.

Researchers suggest that first impressions are influenced by facial aesthetics, which is improved by Botox. The study determined whether Botox injections would contribute to a person getting higher scores on numerous first impression scales.

Each participant had before and after photo shoots (with and without Botox injections). These photos were divided into books; each subject only appeared once per book. Evaluators completed a survey, which ranked their first impressions on various scales per photo.

It was concluded that first impression scores of those who took Botox received higher scores for dating success, attractiveness, and athletic success.
