Thermage was recently given the green light by the FDA to begin distributing their periorbital wrinkle treatment to the public. The treatment will be given through the use of a ThermaCool system. This system uses ThermaTips to non-invasively deposit capacitive radiofrequency energy to help tighten existing collagen and promote the growth of new collagen.
 
This treatment offers a viable alternative to injections of botulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox. ThermaCool should provide a similar result without the invasive injections. Non-invasive procedures are quickly becoming an acceptable alternative to cosmetic surgery.
