According to a Chicago Tribune report on Wednesday, more than 300 Glenview Illinois residents have appended their signatures to petitions to force a spa and salon to take down their billboard which seem to be against wrinkles and other natural signs of aging. 

The billboard features a half-dressed woman and, through the use of lines and labels, points out flaws and their salon solutions. 

Residents are worried that this type of advertisement sends the wrong message to women. "It doesn't represent us as people whose beauty emanates from within," Regina Thibeau said.

However the owners of the advertisement refuse to do away with the offensive material and local officials have to admit that they really have no authority to take action.
